This interactive map of the history of the Walkleys shows information regarding past Gold Walkley winners (including the category, network/publication, and story content), as well as the location of where the story took place. It also features an interactive timeline, which shows where winning journalists worked (and award information), from 1956 until 2010.

How to use this site.

Use the slide bar (on the left) to zoom in or out. You can also use your mouse scroll wheel to zoom.

Click and drag your mouse to pan the map.

'Show Winners' will display a time series of the winners since 1956. 'Show Gold Winners' will display the Gold Walkley winners. For a slightly different perspective, 'Show Heat Map' will display an image showing how 'hot' a particular area is with respect to number of winners in that area.
